Meet the Staff
Dr. Bill Croushore
Dr. Bill Croushore attended veterinary school at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine (Virginia Tech), graduating in 1997. Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Croushore attended Duquesne University School of Pharmacy and graduated in 1992. He practiced pharmacy in southwest Virginia until he was accepted into veterinary school in 1993.
Dr. Croushore joined White Oak Veterinary Clinic in 2002. Dr. Croushore was raised in Ruffsdale, Westmoreland County in southwest Pennsylvania.
In addition to large animal medicine and surgery, Dr. Croushore's professional interests include embryo transfer, ultrasound aided fetal gender determination and herd health management.
Dr. Croushore holds membership in the following professional organizations: American Veterinary Medical Association, Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Bovine Practitioners and American Embryo Transfer Association and the International Embryo Transfer Society. He is certified by the American Embryo Transfer Association. In addition, Dr. Croushore is the treasurer for the Somerset County Holstein Association and is a member of the Berlin-Brothersvalley Ag Advisory Committee. Dr. Croushore is licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland and West Virginia.

Dr. Croushore is married to Sheila and they have 2 children, Nolan and Bena. He attends St. Peter's Catholic Church where he teaches 8th grade CCD class. When not engaged in veterinary practice, Dr. Croushore enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying the outdoors.

Dr. Daniel Zawisza
Dr. Zawisza grew up in Schuylkill County, PA. After high school, Dr. Zawisza attended Mansfield University of Pennsylvania and majored in biology and environmental science. In 2006, Dr. Zawisza received his DVM degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
Prior to joining White Oak Veterinary Clinic in 2008, Dr. Zawisza worked at a mixed animal practice in Annville, PA splitting time between companion animals and dairy cattle. Realizing he enjoyed large animal practice more than anything else, Dr. Zawisza decided to concentrate on large animal work.
Dr. Zawisza is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Dairy Science
Association, the American Association of Bovine Practitoners, National Mastitis Council and the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association. In addition, Dr. Zawisza serves on the Board of Trustees for the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association for District 5. He is licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the states of Pennsylvania and Maryland.
Dr. Zawisza is married to Bethany and together they have a four sons, Jacob, Gabriel, Dominic and Eli. Outside of practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Zawisza enjoys hunting and fishing, hiking and camping, reading and old movies. Dr. Zawisza attends St. Peter's Catholic Church in Somerset, PA.

Lori Ling
Lori started at White Oak Veterinary Clinic in 1998. Lori grew up in Somerset County on a dairy farm near New Centerville. Lori completed a veterinary assistant course from Penn Foster Career School in 2009.
Lori became office manager at White Oak in 2013 and handles many different tasks in the office including client billing, ordering, scheduling and many others.
Lori lives on the family farm and enjoys spending time at home, with her cats, Baby and Buddy, and her tropical fish, watching NASCAR and doing things inside and outside her home.

Jenny Coleman
Jenny started at White Oak Veterinary Clinic in 2010. She works in the office, on farm assistant and assists with embryo transfer.
Jenny is married to Adam and they have three children, Heidi, Robbie and Tyrell. They have dairy farm in the Berlin area.

Sheila Croushore
Sheila started at White Oak Veterinary Clinic in 2013 and is our bookkeeper.

ASHLEY KAUFMAN
Ashley started at White Oak Veterinary Clinic in 2015. She studied animal science at Pennsylvania State University and graduated in 2013. At White Oak she assists with the IVF/embryo transfer.
She is married to Justin and they have two children, Avery and Rhett. They reside on a dairy farm in the Berlin area.

JANAE SPEIGLE
Janae started at White oak Veterinary Clinic in 2021. Janae grew up in Boswell on a farm where her love of animals began. As a teen she milked cows and fed calves on the neighbor’s dairy farm. A few years after high school graduation, she went to Kentucky where she graduated from Morehead State University in 2017, with a bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology. After graduation she moved to Knoxville, TN and worked as a large animal technician at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. After a few years she returned to Somerset County and worked at an equine practice for a few years before joining White Oak.
At White Oak she assists the veterinarians on farm calls as well as assisting with IVF/embryo transfer.
When not working, Janae loves spending time with friends and family, as well as her dog Otis. She also enjoys watching movies and quilting.

DR. MEGHAN SANDERS
Dr. Sanders started at White Oak Veterinary Clinic in 2022. Dr. Sanders grew up in Mansfield, Ohio on a small hobby beef farm. She graduated from The Ohio State University in 2016, with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, and again in 2020 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. After graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Sanders completed a Farm Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship at The Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center.
Before joining the White Oak team, Dr. Sanders practiced at a mixed large animal clinic in North Carolina. She enjoys working with all ruminant species, and has a strong interest in bovine medicine and surgery. She is licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Ohio, Maryland and Pennsylvania.
When not working, Dr. Sanders enjoys running, cooking, and traveling. Recently she has been on a mission to visit all 50 states, having only four left to visit. During her travels she particularly enjoys stopping at US National Parks and historical sites.
Dr. Sanders looks forward to meeting and serving the clients of White Oak Veterinary clinic, and becoming an active member of the greater Somerset community.
